Account Executive

As our Account Executive you will act in a critical hunter role, taking a consultative selling approach to ensuring new customers are successfully closed, adopt the our products and services and are educated on how our products can help them grow their business and improve their bottom line. You will be responsible for serving the needs of existing customers and closing sales deals to create new customers. Leveraging your excellent relationship building, discovery, closing, and problem-solving abilities, you will maximize the potential revenue and demand for each customer you acquire. Success will be dependent on your ability to engage in working a prospect pipeline of value opportunities and closing them as activated customers.

General Responsibilities

  1. You will be called upon to utilize superior salesmanship to develop sales opportunities and identify the necessary decision makers and influencers of the prospective deal.
  2. You will listen, identify and understand clients/prospective clients needs and deliver to their expectations.
  3. You will actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through active networking and utilizing business referrals and our marketing efforts.
  4. You are hugely curious and will constantly look for ways to enhance your knowledge of our industry, market, and competitors to provide that sales edge needed to close business and generate revenue.
  5. Developing and working a pipeline of prospect opportunities.
  6. Develop meaningful business relationships with customers, conduct deep discovery, align our products and services with customer needs, and set thorough expectations to allow for long term success.
  7. Optimize your customers’ account settings and product configuration.
  8. Consult with your customers on best practices for integrating our products and services, to maximize their ROI.
  9. Accurately record all required information and customer interactions into our CRM.
  10. Provide customer and prospect feedback to both marketing and product teams.

Requirements

  1. Some demonstrable and quantifiable experience successfully selling a product or service. Experience in the financial or education sector is an advantage but not a must.
  2. Willingness to learn and adopt a structured and disciplined approach to sales.
  3. Good phone, written, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Thrives in a high‐tech, fast‐paced, team‐oriented environment.
  5. Exudes enthusiasm, a positive attitude, self‐motivation, and strong work ethic.
  6. Demonstrable high-energy initiative.
